Spring is officially here! I guess? Last week, the weather was in the 40s and this week the weather is in the 80s in Atlanta. Atlanta is known for is unpredictable temperatures. You never know what you will get when you walk outside. So right now I am wearing lightweight layers that are easy to peel off as the temperature rises.  Spring Style from Old Navy

This outfit from Old Navy is perfect for wearing on a weekend trip to the farmers market or for grabbing coffee with friends. The military style jacket is lightweight and can be thrown into a large tote bag toward the end of a busy day.

My Style // Spring Awakening

A few weeks ago, I was shopping at Anthropologie (my favorite store) and I happened to spot this floral peplum top on sale for $9.95. Talk about an amazing deal! This floral top is perfect for spring and I couldn’t wait to wear it.  I decided to pair this top with a pair of lacquered pants from Zara to give it an edgy look.

During this week’s shoot, we happened to stumble upon this new frozen custard shop in Atlanta, Vintage Frozen Custard. I love a good custard and thought this was the perfect way to kick off the beginning of spring. If you are in Atlanta check this place out.

Orange is The New Black

Last week at New York Fashion it was pretty clear that the color orange will be very popular next spring. All of the runways were filled with bright colors but orange stood out the most. Is orange the new black? Will you be wearing orange next spring?

Today marks the last day of Fashion Week. I spotted several new trends on the runway during this season of Fashion Week.

One trend that I expect to see in stores next spring is the short suit set. Almost every designer that I love had a short suit set in their spring collection. The short suit is very a cute and professional. You can wear it from the office to happy hour with friends.

I wonder if my office would allow me to wear one of the looks above to work. Will you be wearing this trend next spring? Share your thoughts below.
