The weather has been pretty mild in Atlanta lately and I have been craving homemade lemonade. So this weekend, I decide to make homemade raspberry lemonade with leftover fruit and lemons I had sitting at home. It was really easy to make and I can’t wait to try it with other fruits this spring and summer. Check out the recipe below!
1 cup of fresh or frozen raspberries
3/4 cup of sugar
How to Prepare
Puree raspberries in a blender until they have liquified. After you have pureed the raspberries pour them into a bowl through a strainer to remove the seeds. Once you have done this, squeeze all of the lemons expect one into the bowl. Stir the raspberry and lemon mixture together. Then pour the mixture into a pitcher and add the sugar. Now to finish it off fill the pitcher 3/4 to the top and stir everything together. Slice the remaining lemon and add it to the pitcher. Place the lemonade in the refrigerator for an hour until it is ready to serve.
**If you are throwing a dinner party, try adding sparkling wine or vodka to the lemonade to give it a grown up taste.
