The social media waves were buzzing yesterday about the upcoming launch of the Lilly Pulitzer for Target collection. The collection will arrive in stores on April 19 and will be available in Women’s, Women’s Plus, Home, Kids, and Beauty. Each item from the collection ranges from $2 to $250. I think everyone is excited about this collection as a much as I am.
Yesterday I went through the collection making a list of items I want to purchase. In May, my best friend and I are planning to take a beach trip. We haven’t finalized our destination but all I know is that I’ll be taking this collection with me.
Haven’t seen the collection yet? Check out a few of my favorite items below.

This year in Atlanta Valentine’s Day is going to be a cold one. Temperatures are expected to reach record lows. So the Mr. and I have a romantic day and evening at home. I’ve partnered with ModCloth to recommend the essential items you need for weekend wear. On a cold weekend like this one I love to layer my clothing. I’ve picked three looks you will love to layer with. For other cardigan options that perfect for layering check out the rest of their website.

I’m back with another installment of my style series! It’s been a long week but I’m looking forward to winding down this weekend and hitting the town for some fun. This leather dress from BB Dakota is perfect for a girls night out on the town! The great thing about this dress is that it’s figure flattering and can be worn throughout the spring. It also has a little sex appeal but it’s classy as well.

The start of spring is just a few weeks away and we got a taste of the weather in Atlanta this week. It was sigh of relief from the weeks of snow and freezing rain. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good snow day but being able to enjoy the warm weather these past few days was great. So I’m ready and welcoming spring with open arms.

I recently became single after being off the market for a few years now. I’m learning to embrace my singleness and have fun with it. I’m slowly jumping back into the dating market one foot at a time.
I thought it would be fun to do a Valentine’s Day photo shoot at one of my favorite places in Atlanta, The High Museum of Art. The High Museum is Atlanta’s largest art museum. In college, I minored in art history and have always had a passion for art.
Although I don’t have any concrete plans for tomorrow, I’m looking forward to getting out after being snowed in for three days. Maybe I’ll catch a movie or grab sushi with friends or stop by the museum.
What are your plans for Valentines Day?
