Right now many of you are planning to hit the gym at some point today. I know I am! It’s that time of year where everyone is focused on eating healthy and working out regularly. Finding good protein packed snacks after a session on the treadmill or a spin class be challenging. Smoothies are a great way to get snack on the go. In honor of Peanut Butter day later this weekend, I’m sharing my favorite smoothie recipe for a chocolate peanut butter banana smoothie. The semi-sweet treat is still a healthy indulgent. Peanut Butter is a great source of lean protein, bananas are filled with potassium, and kefir will keep your gut healthy.
Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie
3 tablespoons Peanut Butter & Co. Dark Chocolate Dreams
1 frozen banana
1 cup of vanilla kefir
1/4 cup of soymilk, unsweetened
1/4 cup of raw spinach
Place all ingredients in your blender and blend until smooth.
