Snapshots from Portland, Oregon

Last week I spent time in Portland, Oregon for work attending a food Editors conference. This was first time in Portland. Although our schedule didn’t permit a lot of free time, I was able to squeeze in few hours to explore the city. Portland is known for its food, wine, and beer so you know I was in heaven.

Before arriving to Portland, I reached out to my social media followers to ask them what they thought I should do in Portland. I received several great recommendations so I ventured out on my own with my co-worker to see what the city had to offer.

We managed to visit several notable places in the city like the Food Carts, Voodoo Doughnuts, Tasty n Adler, and Pok Pok. My favorite restaurant we visited was our last stop before we headed home to a place called Jam on Hawthorne. They have amazing variety of vegetarian friendly breakfast and lunch options. They use all local and fresh ingredients to make everything from scratch.
