This weekend I decided to make homemade sweet potato crisps to go with my lunch on Saturday. I love sweet potatoes because they are filled with vitamins and are great for you. These crisps turned out so great, that I’m never buying another bag of sweet potato chips from the grocery store again. They are easy to make and your kids will love them!
Sweet Potato Crisps
3 Medium Sweet Potatoes
1 tablespoon of Olive Oil
1 clove of Garlic
1 tablespoon of Italian Seasoning
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, italian seasoning and garlic together. Set the bowl aside. Now peel your sweet potatoes and thinly slice them into chip like pieces using a potato slicer or a knife.
Now add the sweet potatoes to the bowl and mix them together with the olive oil mixture.
Once you have mixed everything together, spread them in a single layer on silpat baking sheets or a parchment lined non-stick cookie sheet.
Bake them for 20 to 25 minutes in the oven on 350 degrees. Flip them once half way through the baking process. You will know that they are ready when the chips have become slightly brown and are crispy on the edges.
