Lately I’ve been obsessed with Brussels sprouts since I had them out to eat a few months ago. When most people hear the word Brussels sprouts being served at dinner, they begin to gag. It’s probably because it’s the one dish their mother made them eat before they could leave the dinner table. My recipe won’t disappoint unless you don’t like meat! In the past few months I’ve shared this recipe with several people but I’ve decided it’s time I share it with you!
Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Parmesan
Ingredients
1/2 pound of Brussels Sprouts
4 pieces of Bacon (Turkey or Regular Bacon)
1 tablespoon of Garlic Cloves
2 teaspoons of Black Pepper
1/2 cup of Chicken Broth
1/2 onion chopped
1 tablespoon of Olive Oil
How to Prepare:
Broil turkey bacon or regular bacon on a cookie sheet. Cook bacon until it’s crispy and juicy. Remove bacon from pan and place on a paper towel. Rinse Brussels sprouts with water. Cut them in half and place them face down on the previously used cookie sheet. Season with salt, pepper, olive oil, and add broth to pan. Cover pan with foil. Cook on 350 degrees for 10 minutes then remove foil and toss them around. Turn oven up to 400 degrees. Continue to cook for 10-15 more minutes until soft and brown on the edges. Crumble bacon pieces and add a little Parmesan cheese. It’s now ready to eat. Enjoy!
P.S. If you want to make the recipe more gourmet, you can substitute the bacon for pancetta.

I need to eat more brussels sprouts and everything is better with bacon and cheese! Thanks for sharing this recipe!
You are correct, there is a negative connotation associated with brussels sprouts but I look forward to trying to this recipe.
